After a long wait, we finally got the last episode of the season. It was quite a shocking episode as fans were not expecting it. After Alpha successfully trapped Daryl, Carol, Connie, Magna, and Jerry in the mine where she kept the horde, the group struggles to come out.

The direction of the 9th episode of season 10 was perfect. However, Fans also got to see Negan. Megan is still with Alpha’s group.
People who follow the comics as well know that in the comics Negan kills Alpha. Even though, Negan is with Alpha there is definitely something else going in his mind.
In season 10, Negan escaped Alexandria, it makes sense why he is out there after Alpha. He wants to make his way into Alexandria by winning hearts and the only way he can do it is by killing Alpha.
Are they going to follow comics?
The main question is the show will follow comics or not. They show is following the footsteps of the comics so far. But with no directors on board and views dropping low, they might change a thing or two.

Like in a recent episode, no one thought that Alpha will seduce Negan and Negan was not even expecting it as well. Negan revealed his thoughts to alpha and he communicated with Beta about it and ordered him she wants gamma as Gamma disappeared. Bu Ally this gesture Negan is trying to win his place in Whisperers and he knew that now the group knows where the horde is Gamma is not useful to them anymore and he told alpha about it.
But Alpha ( Samantha Norton) is wise and what she did with Alexandria, it seems like she will not fall for Negan’s plan easily. It seems like Negan, she has a plan as well.
Alpha and Negan: Double Crossing each other
Alpha might use Negan as a bait to get what she wants. Negan might be her shot to get things done her way. It is obvious that Negan can never find common ground with Whisperers. He even told Alpha that he became monstrous because he had no choice. He built a system.
Alpha is hard not to cracka and there is no doubt that she is wise and clever when it comes to the survival of her people. What will be the reaction of Judith when she will get to know Negan is teamed up with whisperers. The Bigger Question is will again be able to kill Alpha?
If they plan to divert from comics then we might be getting an epic season 11 but we do hope that Negan succeeds.
With Connie and Magna trapped inside the mine, the group might face a great challenge. Daryl also seemed angry at Carol for not behaving smartly.
A lot of questions still need to be answered and we are expecting that they will be answered in season 11 soon.
The new season will drive this year in September most probably.
