iPhone SE 2020 is Apple’s cheapest and affordable smartphone. Just like iPhone SE which came out in 2016 after the launch of iPhone 6S and 6S Plus with the same specs, but with the size of iPhone 5S. iPhone SE 2020, also known as iPhone 9 is equipped with Apple A13 chipset which was introduced in iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. The size and shape is similar to the iPhone 8. If you are interested in buying the iPhone 11 but can not afford it, this smartphone is just for you.
Apple just announced iPhone SE 2020 today, Pre-orders begin at 5:00 a.m on Friday, April 17th. The shipping will begin on April 24th.
iPhone SE 2020 Performance
As we mentioned earlier this smartphone is equipped with Apple A13 Bionic which is also present in iPhone 11 and 11 Pro. This chipset is considered to be the fastest. It is equipped with a Hexa-core (2×2.65 GHz Lightning + 4×1.8 GHz Thunder) CPU, also the operating system iOS 13 is pre-installed. There are 3 variants, one with 64 GB storage, second with 128 GB storage and the third one with 256 GB storage. However, there is no news on how much RAM it will have, it is yet to be decided.

Display and Design
The design is quite similar to the iPhone 8, 4.7 inches screen with a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels. The front and back are both glass and the frame is aluminum. Also, iPhone SE 2020 is water and dust resistant up to 1-m for 30-minutes, coated with IP67. The display is IPS LCD as usual, also there is only one camera at the back same as iPhone 8 design. It only supports one sim, nano sim. There is no headphone jack.

iPhone SE 2020 comes with a single rear 12-megapixel camera with a 6-element lens and f/1.8 aperture. This camera supports zoom up to 5x. It can record at 160p@24/30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/120/240fps.

iPhone SE 2020 is available in 3 different models 64-GB, 128-GB, 256-GB. The price is starting at $399 for the 64-GB version. The 128-GB version costs 449$ and the 256-GB version costs 549$. Pre-orders are starting today on Apple’s official website. Also on buying iPhone SE 2020, you get free access to Apple TV for a whole year.
