Aquaman is going to have a sequel. Warner Bros and DC are working on Aquaman 2. Aquaman was a big hit for DC. It earned millions at the box office. However, Jason Momoa gave his opinion to Warner Bros during the shooting of Part 1. He told them he believes that there should be a sequel of the movie.
Aquaman is quite famous among people for the amazing direction and of course, Jason Momoa as the Atlantis King is the best thing you will see on the big screens.
The good news is there is going to be a sequel. It also has a release date. They are going to release the highly anticipated sequel in 2022.
The plot of Aquaman 2
The Aquaman 2 is definitely going to show us the lifestyle and reign of Aquaman. In part 1, we only saw a glimpse of Arthur Cury as the king of Atlantis. We got the story of how the Aquaman became what he is. We basically saw the origin of the character. The sequel.is going to focus on Arthur as the king. We are definitely going to see more of his character as the king in this part.
However, there are many possibilities when it comes to the villains. Aquaman defeated Orm in the first part and took the crown. However, people are believing that the character can come back again as the villain.
Aquaman also saved his evil brother, soared his life. However, it makes sense if he comes back as the villain. Like we mentioned there are many possibilities.
Black Manta as Villian in Aquaman 2
Black Manta is the major villain of the Aquaman. There is a possibility that Black Manta is the villain in the sequel of the movie.
In the middle of the first movie, he was discovered by Dr.Stephen Shin. There is a huge possibility that he is returning as the villain and it is going to make the movie epic.
Cast
Jason Momoa is going to return as the King of Atlantis, Arthur Cury and Amber heed is going to be there as Meera. Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Yahya Abdul-Mateen as Black Manta and Dolph Lundgren as Nereus.
The cast is purely talented and we are excited to watch them making a comeback in the second sequel.
Release date
Aquaman 2 is going to release on 16th December 2022. It is quite late. But this year Warner Bros has many big projects including Bird of Prey and even Shazam also lined up to be released. However, we are patiently waiting for the sequel.
