Attack On Titan Chapter 139 has finally released. It was the final chapter of Manga of the famous Anime Series. Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 will air next year, in 2022. However, Manga readers already know the ending now since the chapter has revealed the end of Attack on Titan and the fate of Eren Yeager. Spoiler Warning Below
The final chapter 139 has uncovered the fate of Eren Yeager and his true feelings for Mikasa. In the start, Eren Yeager was the protagonist of the series. However, in the final season, Eren Yeager turned into the antagonist of the series. It was revealed that killing the founding titan will remove the entire Titan line from the globe and it will revert all the titans back to their original human forms.
Eren Yeager betrays his friends in the final chapter to gain the power of Founding Titan but in the end, Mikasa killed Eren by severing his head from the founding titan, thus ending the cycle of violence and ending Eren Yaeger for good. Due to his death, all titans were reverted back to their human forms and it ended the titan’s power for good from the world. It was also explained that Eren did it to protect his friends and to end the cycle of violence he has to die. This was the only way, Eren confessed to Armin that he will become the genocidal martyr so that they can step up as the heroes and stop him. The ending was quite similar to Code Geass’s ending. Eren received a similar ending as Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass.
Attack On Titan Final Chapter: Eren’s True Feelings for Mikasa
In his conversation with Armin, Eren also confessed that he loved Mikasa. He said some harsh words before to Mikasa and Armin, that they are slaves and Eren always hated Mikasa but all knew that it was not true and the final chapter proved it.
I don’t wanna die, I want to be with Mikasa… With everyone.
I don’t want that. Mikasa finding another man? I want her to think about me and no one else for the rest of my life. Even as I die, I want to be at the front of her mind for a while. Ten years at least. I don’t want to die. I want to be with Mikasa.
Please don’t repeat that to Mikasa, I want her to be happy.
