The universal is going to make a remake of the Dracula untold, first released in 2014 casting Luke Evans. It is basically based on the classic novel of Bram Stocker with the same name. However, there are many adaptions of the novel to watch.
For years, their projects have been struggling to make their mark at the box office. But, the universe is going to bring new projects in the coming years which will definitely give them the place they deserve at the box office.
Netflix also released a series with the same name quite while ago. However, many people positively criticized the series as it had great production and marketing strategies as well as winning the attention of people all around the globe.
The universal is also trying to win the audience back as Marvel cinematics is doing good at the box office and even Sony entertainment is also bringing movies like Sonic: the hedgehog and spider-man. However, they add back at the box office with a good hit named “Invisible man” this week.
They are not through with horror and thrilling flicks. They tried to reboot The Mummy with Tom Cruise but it failed miserably at the box office. But, they are also planning to reboot with Ryan Gosling. It is not fully confirmed but it seems like they are thinking to cast the best of Hollywood in their upcoming projects.
Dracula – Reinfeld:
But there is a twist in the story, they are not going to make it dead serious. The movie is going to be a comedy. They are going to show the life of lunatic asylum patient Reinfield who was the victim of Dracula’s hold and compulsion.
It is not much about the movie yet, it is too early to say anything about the movie yet. But Cumberbatch is not the only Marvel star who is approached for this new project. Wesley Snipes is also going to be in the movie alongside Cumberbatch.
Soon, they will update the fans with the upcoming information regarding this project.
Cumberbatch recently appeared in a British movie called 1917 which received praise from the critics and did well at the box office as well. So, we can count on the universe for bringing back the best projects with better plots as compared to the previous ones.
