Lili Reinhart is returning to big screens again with her new movie. Chemical Hearts is a romantic- Drama movie. She is ready for new projects after “Riverdale”. There is no doubt that she is extremely talented. The movie is based on a novel. According to Lili, it is going to be something different. We hardly see a sad romantic movie these days. Most movies end with a happy ending. The movie is more going to be like “500 days of summer “. It seems like the movie might receive positive reviews from the critics as well.
Lili Reinhart is also the executive producer of the movie. She said this during an interview;
I am not the typical person who loves rom-coms and I don’t necessarily seek romantic movies, but the fact that this is a love story [that’s] also about two individual people in their own journeys I think is beautiful,”
She further said;
And young love stories that don’t have happy endings are also stories that need to be told. Chemical Hearts is the kind of movie that portrays young love in a realistic light in the sense that it f—ing hurts sometimes. And oftentimes it does not go the way you want it to. And you can have this idea of someone and they don’t measure up to what you want them to be.”
The movie will not have a happy ending. The movie is quite sad. The Riverdale star believes that sad love stories should also be told. She is quite positive about the whole project. The movie will not be like other romantic movies. It is going to make us sad for sure. The story is unique but at the same time, it is also heartbreaking as well. However, it is a good thing that Lili is bringing something different to the big screens. The movie is based on a novel of the same name. The novel was released back in 2016. However, it is not the last movie that is based on a book.” The kissing Booth” and “To all the boys I have loved before” both of the books are based on books. Romantic comedies and romantic drama movies are becoming a lot common these days. There is a huge demand for romantic movies and they also become famous overnight.
