Elite is Netflix’s intense teen thriller Spanish TV series. The first season revolves around three scholarship students Samuel, Nadia, and Christan. They get transferred to Las Encinas High School, a private school for the rich students, after their own public school gets destroyed. The clash between the scholarship students and the rich students leads to the murder.
The first season is basically about why their school gets destroyed and Marina getting murdered. After joining the new private school, Samuel develops an attraction towards Marina, the girl that gets murdered in season 1. Marina, however, starts seeing Samuel’s brother Nano, a former prisoner, who is in debt. Marina helps Nano, doing so, she gets murdered.

Later in Season 1, they reveal it was actually Polo, in the heated moment, Polo accidentally hits Marina’s skull with the trophy, which kills her. Polo then reveals the truth to Carla, his ex. Carla then helps Polo hide the murder weapon and they blame the whole murder on Nano.
Elite Season 2
After Samuel finds out that the murderer was not Nano, he and Guzman plan their own scheme to find out who the real culprit is. Samuel goes missing, which was basically his plan to lure the culprit out. They also introduce a new cast in season 2, Rebecca, played by Claudia Salas. Samuel gets Carla’s attention and then plays with her emotions to make her speak up the truth. Carla after finding out that Samuel is dead because of her, which was also his plan, trips and speaks up the truth in front of the police that it was Polo. Cayetana, also a new cast, Polo’s new girlfriend, after finding out that Polo killed Marina, she hides the murder weapon.
Elite Season 3 copied 13 Reasons Why Season 3
After Cayetana hides the murder weapon and police finds nothing on Polo, they set Polo free. Polo then joins the school again, even though everyone knows that Polo is a murderer, they couldn’t do anything, so they only bullied him.

13 Reasons Why Season 3
The same thing happened in 13 Reasons Why Season 3 after everyone finds out Bryce Walker was the reason behind Hannah Baker’s suicide. They start hating Bryce except for his squad. After Bryce walks out of the court without any charge, everyone started to hate him more. Bryce tries to change and be a good man. But his past mistakes wouldn’t let him. He changes his school where he gets bullied, his friend Zach steals his girlfriend.
Bryce and Polo get murdered the same night, they came to confess that they did it. Zach beats up Bryce, and Alex kills him to end the cycle of violence. Clay and his friends then save Alex from the police, the same thing happens in Elite Season 3. Polo arrives at the graduation party. Everyone just wants to kill him, but he was there to confess that he is done running away. Lu, in the moment of anger, kills her by stabbing polo with a bottle head in the chest. Everyone then planned to save Lu, by telling the police different stories. As a result, Lu was not found guilty.

Netflix Elite vs 13 Reasons Why
Honestly, Elite is the Spanish version of 13 Reasons Why, with that teen drama and murders, both seasons are similar. Clay and Samuel’s character is actually quite similar. However, 13 Reasons Why’s soundtracks made it more intense and the realistic approach was also more in the 13 Reasons Why.

Elite Season 4 and 13 Reasons Why Season 4 Release Date
There is no news on Elite Season 4 yet, however, there is a high chance that will release around the start of 2021. The main cast will be replaced by the new batch students.
13 Reasons Why is renewed for another and last season which is Season 4. There is no news yet on the release date of 13 Reasons Why Season 4, but it is releasing this year(2020).
