Netflix’s Emily in Paris Season 3 is coming to the streaming platform soon. Despite receiving negative comments about the french stereotypes, the show is still loved by the audience. Emily in Paris is created by Darren Star, who is famous for creating “Sex and the City”. Season 2 of the show got an overwhelming response from viewers all around the world. According to Netflix, season 2 of ‘Emily in Paris’ was watched for 280 million hours in the first week of its release. Also, Netflix has renewed the show for seasons 3 and 4, season 4 is expected to release next year.
Emily in Paris Season 3 Release Date
Emily in Paris Season 3 will release on December 21, 2022. The previous season also had a December release date. Netflix announced the renewal news in January 2022. The production of season 3 started in June 2022. A post was also shared by ‘Emily in Paris’ official Instagram account. Also, Lilly Collins also shared a post on her Instagram account in June hinting at the filming of season 3.
“Back(bend) in Paris! Can’t show you too much of Season 3 yet – so here’s a little flashback for now! Lots of love from season 2”, the actress wrote.
Plot
Season 2 ended with a cliffhanger. Emily Cooper has to make a tough decision about her future. Sylvie asked Emily to join her and the team after leaving ‘Savoir’. But, Emily’s old boss, Madeline wants Emily to stay with her and offers her a promotion she badly wanted back in Chicago. Also, the social media manager started to date the British banker ‘Alfie’ who went back to London by the end of season 2. However, Emily is not sure if she wants to continue the long-distance relationship with him after realizing she’s in love with Gabriel. But, things become complicated for Emily when she finds out Gabriel is dating Camila.
Will Alfie return for season 3?
Fans immediately fell in love with Lucien Laviscount’s character. Fans loved how he refused to immerse himself in French culture and spent his time in the English pub. Laviscount revealed in an interview that he would love to “be back” in season 3.
He told Harper’s Bazaar:
“Who knows about Season 3?” Laviscount told Harper’s Bazaar. “I had the best year of my life working on the show and working with these people. So if I’m back, I’m back, but as long as I serve the storyline and serve Emily’s story and do a good job, that’s what matters.”
The Scream Queen’s actor also wants Emily to pick Alfie as he told Harper’s Bazaar “Paris is not far from London”.

All the main cast members will return for season 3. Lilly Collins will be back to play the lead role of ‘Emily’. Ashley Park will return to play Emily’s BFF. Lucas Bravo will return as Emily’s love interest, Gabriel. Other cast members include;
