By The Moldy Depths area in Star Wars Jedi Survivor can trap you if you do not know the right way out. This underground area on the Koboh planet has a big metal gate that blocks your path, and many players get stuck here. Here is how you can escape this area and get to Harvest Ridge.
You will need your Nekko creature to escape from this area. There are two ways you can do this, and both methods work well.

How to Exit Moldy Depths in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
Method 1: Jump Over the Gate
This is the fastest way to get out of the Moldy Depths.
Get on your Nekko and face the big metal gate that is blocking your way. You need to get some speed first, so back up a bit and then ride toward the gate. When you get close to the gate, press the jump button twice to make your Nekko do a double jump.
While you are in the air and going over the gate, you need to get off your Nekko. Press the dismount button and then use your dash ability to move forward. This will help you land on the platform on the other side of the gate safely.
Method 2: Go Around the Gate
If you cannot make the jump work, then you can take a different route.
Get off your Nekko and walk to the left side of the metal gate. There is a path that goes around the gate area. Follow this path until you see a wall that has vines growing on it.
Climb up the vine wall using your normal climbing controls. Once you reach the top, there will be a path that takes you to the other side of the locked gate. Follow this upper path and you will end up past the gate.
Once your Nekko is with you again, you can continue toward the exit.
Ride your Nekko to the big elevator that is not working. The elevator is stuck, but you can still use it to get out. Use your Nekko to double jump (dismount mid air and then jump) up onto the elevator platform.
Leave Moldy Depths
From the elevator platform, you need to do some wall jumping to climb up the elevator shaft. Jump from wall to wall until you reach the top of the shaft.
At the very top there will be more vines you can climb. Climb these final vines and you will exit the Moldy Depths area. You will arrive in Harvest Ridge, which is where you want to be.
Final Words
The Moldy Depths can be confusing because it looks like you are trapped. However, Nekko is the key to getting out of this area. If you lose your Nekko or it gets stuck somewhere, you can always call it back to you.
