Just like Facebook Live-streams and Games streams, official music videos can be accessed through Facebook Watch too. These Music Videos are just like any other video on the platform. According to Facebook:
Starting this weekend, you’ll be able to discover, watch, and share music videos from today’s top artists to up-and-coming bands and classics across various music genres on Facebook. With official music videos on Facebook, we’re creating new social experiences that are about more than just watching the video.
Due to the current situation of pandemic and lockdown, the Facebook audience and user-engagement time have increased. These Videos on Facebook will be really beneficial for artists because they can generate a good amount of ad revenue from their content. These videos are not a big deal for normal users, but it is a massive deal for the artists. Also, it will be much easier to find artists now through music videos. These videos can be shared anywhere on Facebook just like any other video. You can explore these videos by genre, artist, or mood.
Fans can also expect the premiere of the official music video for a new track from Lele Pons on Facebook first, who will be going live in advance to connect with fans and build excitement.
