Friends TV Series has been an extensive part of our lives and for the majority of us, it is a wonderful comfort show to watch on bad days to get rid of all the blues and paint it out with the vibrant feel that the show provides us with. The show after going on for 10 whole seasons decided to release a new reunion episode with all six of its cast members and its co-creators as what happened back in 2016, but Matthew was not involved in it.
Release Date
Friends Reunion Episode was all set out to release in the May of 2020 but, due to the pandemic, the producers decided to cancel it out since the safety of the cast is more important and they did not want to film it over a zoom call as this episode is very special to all the fans of the show.
The shooting for the episode wrapped up on 11 April 2021 as concluded by the post on the official friends Instagram handle, and hence, the episode is all set out to release in 2021 but no confirmation of its release date has been announced yet. However, the episode will be serialized on HBO Max so while we wait for it to come upon our screens why not just re-watch all the 236 episodes again.
Cast
The cast of the show will involve all six of the beloved characters, i.e., Jennifer Aniston as Rachel, Courtney Cox as Monica, Matthew Perry as Chandler, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe, David Schwimmer as Ross and Matt Leblanc as Joey also including its co-creators, David and Martha as well.
However, the producers have been clear that this is not an extra episode of the show and no scripts were prepared for it rather all the cast members will be themselves instead of acting like their beloved characters.
