According to some rumors, there is going to be a Harry Potter TV Series at HBO max. But, the studio denies that there is no plan for a TV show yet. HBO has not confirmed yet if there is going to be series. The original Harry Potter movie franchise ended in 2011. But, Harry Potter and the cursed child, the play did good in theatres before the corona-virus pandemic.
In 2017, there were rumors that Warner Bros and J.K Rowling are working on an upcoming movie, Harry Potter and the cursed child. But, both J.K Rowling and Warner Bros denied the rumors and declared that there are no plans for a movie yet.
“There are no Harry Potter TV series in development at the studio or on the streaming platform,”
The statement was released by Warner Bros.

However, It’s been three years now and J.k Rowling and Warner Bros might come together to bring the most famous play to the big screens. J.K Rowling even said this in an interview when asked about the play;
“I think we really have now told. In terms of moving the story forward, the story that I, in the back of my mind, wanted to tell. And I think we’ve done the story justice,” she said. So I think pushing it on to Harry’s grandchildren really would be quite a cynical move, and I’m not interested in doing that.”
The play is about Harry’s second son , Albus Severus Potter.

It is hard to say anything about a TV show yet. The legacy of Harry Potter is far from over yet. However, if they are planning for a series, it might take some years to create something like this. The movies are still famous even though the last movie was released 10 years ago.
Fantastic Beast is also receiving a lot of praise for its plot and fans are also hoping for a possible cross-over in the future. But, for now, there is no news if they are really working on a sequel.
