Legacies is an ongoing show and spin-off of The Originals, which was a spin-off of The Vampire Diaries. The Originals ended 2 years ago, while The Vampire Diaries ended back in 2017. The Vampire Diaries ending missed out a lot of stuff because the major cast, Elena (played by Nina) left the show. The show “Legacies” focuses on a tribrid, Hope Mikaelson, daughter of an original hybrid “Klaus Mikaelson” who sacrificed himself for the sake of his daughter. The story revolves around Salvatore School for the gifted children, run by Alaric Saltzman, who was a major cast in The Vampire Diaries. Caroline is also helping him in running the school, however, she is mostly in the search for a way to stop the Merge between Alaric’s daughter Jossie and Lizzie. So, she didn’t get enough screen time on Legacies.
Hope Mikaelson, after the death of her mother and father, started helping Alaric in his monster hunting quests while studying in his school. Few of the other cast from Vampire Diaries also made an appearance in Legacies, like Kai Parker, who was imprisoned in the prison world.
Legacies Season 2 was cut short because of COVID-19, so the latest episode was considered to be the finale of the season. However, it’s confirmed Season 3 will premier next year in January. At the end of Season 2, we saw Hope was still stuck in the sleeping spell. The only thing that can kill Landon, Golden Arrow, he got stabbed with it. He didn’t resurrect either, so he could be dead but it’s highly unlikely the case. A tribute to TVD and TO was going to happen in a musical episode, which also didn’t happen in Season 2 because of COVID-19.
Hope Mikaelson in Legacies Season 3
Hope Mikaelson is basically Elena Gilbert of Legacies, the whole spotlight is on her. But she is stronger, she can take care of herself. Two brothers loving the same girl? Landon and Raf love Hope, However, Hope is in love with Landon.
We haven’t seen any downside to her powers yet. She is always there to save the day like she is immortal and unbeatable. In TVD, Damon and Stefan are the ones protecting Elena. However, in Legacies it’s the other way around, hope is protecting Landon all the time. Landon’s powers were recently introduced in the show. We all know at some point, Hope is going to die and activate her tribrid powers fully. But we came up with a theory, that it is going to be similar to the one in The Vampire Diaries. Elena had a choice, she asked Stefan to save Matt instead of her, so she died and became a vampire because she had Damon’s blood in her. We think hope will face something similar, her life for someone else’s, Possibly RAF or Landon.

Cast to appear in Legacies Season 3
So far, we have heard Kat Graham a.k.a Bonnie will make an appearance in Legacies Season 3, also Caroline will be getting more screen time this season. Also, fans want Matthew Davis (Alaric Saltzman) out of the cast and want Caroline to be the new principal of Salvatore School.

There is another rumor going on that Nina Dobrev will be returning to the show. That’s not true, she is done, she said it herself. However, there is a slight chance Damon Salvatore played by Ian, might show up in the show. Rumors also suggest that Charles Michael Davis a.k.a Marcel Gerad might show up later at some point in the show but not in Legacies Season 3. Penelope Parker may return this season. Stefanie Salvatore might make an appearance too at some point.

Well, Malivore plot is getting boring now, in TVD and The Originals, it was all about Vampires, Witches, hybrids, and Werewolves. Now they introduced new monsters it’s basically turning into a DC TV show like hope mikaelson is superman/supergirl and Alaric Saltzman is the batman.
