The Vampire Diaries star, Ian Somerhalder suits up as the Godspeed in a new concept design for The CW Flash Series. Grant Gustin’s Flash series was first aired back in 2014 and it is still going on. Directed by Glen Winter, the series has a 7.7/10 rating on IMDb. The series is part of Arrow-verse just like Arrow, Super-Girl, Black Lightning, DC Legends of Tomorrow, etc. The Flash Season 6 was cut short because of the pandemic. However, the missing episodes will be released along with The Flash Season 7. The release date of Season 7 has been revealed by the CW. The Flash TV series will return next year in February and Ralph Dibny’s role will be recast, just to wrap up his role.

Ian Somerhalder is quite known for playing Damon Salvatore in the famous teen-supernatural series The Vampire Diaries. The series lasted 8 seasons, aired back in 2009, and ended in 2017. The Vampire Diaries was also a CW Series. It is also rumored that the Team Flash is going to face real Godspeed in Season 7.

The new concept design was published by “subi.ozil” on the Instagram, in which Ian-Somerhalder was wearing the Godspeed suit.

In the CW Flash series, Kindall Charters played the role of August Heart a.k.a Godspeed. However, only Godspeed’s clones appeared in the series and we are going to see the real Godspeed in the next season. Showrunner said:

I don’t like spoilers… let’s just say there was a certain speedster who wore a white costume, whose clones kept showing up. Really, Team Flash has to deal with that, but we never caught the real guy or girl. Let’s just say we might find out that mystery this season
