Today, Apple has announced iOS 14 along with watchOS 7 and iPadOS 14 in the latest WWDC 2020 event. Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference was entirely virtual this year because of the pandemic. New features for iPhone, Apple Watch, and other Apple’s products were announced in the WWDC 2020. Apple also announced that they are ditching intel and developing their own processors for Mac. AirPods Pro can now track your head movement using the Gyro sensor. It’s also bringing sleep tracking feature and handwashing detection feature on the Apple Watch. The best thing about Mac’s Apple built chips is, it can run iPhone and iPad applications.

iOS 14 Features
Apple finally announced the iOS 14’s first version to all the developers across the world. Some major changes were made in the latest software of the iPhone. iOS 14 comes with a new home screen, “widgets” were introduced. Now you can fully customize your home screen according to whatever you like. This feature is already available on Android. Apple’s pretty late in introducing this feature. Apple named this feature “Smart Stack”. Widgets are resizable and can be put anywhere on the screen.

Also, now you can sort and organize applications on your iPhone in a much better way using App Library and categorize them. Using this feature, you can also hide applications on the home screen similar to Android’s App Drawer.
With beautifully redesigned widgets on the Home Screen, the App Library that automatically organizes all of your apps, and App Clips that are fast and easy to discover, iPhone becomes even more powerful and easier to use.

Another mode is announced on the latest iOS 14, picture to picture mode. Using this feature, you can adjust the size of the video and can play the video in the background.
With Picture-in-Picture support, iPhone users can now watch a video or take a FaceTime call while using another app.
Apple has also introduced a new translate application which will be built in the latest iOS 14. Users can enter the text and can translate it into 11 different languages. Some minor changes are also made to Siri. It can now send audio messages. Apple also claims that Siri has gotten smarter than before.
Popup Notification of Calls
Another major feature that was introduced in the latest iOS 14 is, now Phone Calls and Facetime Calls notification will appear in a less annoying way. Only popping up on the top of the screen, instead of taking over the whole screen. This can help you ignore the call as well as continue whatever you were doing.
