Apple has officially announced iPhone 12 series today in the event. The four models of iPhone 12 that are announced are the iPhone 12 mini, Apple iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12, and iPhone Pro Max. The size of these models will vary as they will have 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.7-inch respectively. Moreover, the iPhone 12 lineup is Apple’s first series that supports 5G cellular technology.

Display and Design
Apple iPhone 12 Pro has a screen size of 6.1‑inch (diagonal) with an all‑screen OLED display. The Super Retina XDR OLED of the iPhone 12 Pro also supports Dolby Vision, HDR 10, and HLG. It’s OLED has a peak brightness of 1200 nits. Both the front and back of the iPhone are protected by Gorilla Glass and the frame of the body is stainless steel. Moreover, the body is IP68 dust/water-resistant. The dimensions of the phone are 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.4 mm and it weighs about 189 g.
The iPhone 12 Pro display has rounded corners that follow a beautiful curved design, and these corners are within a standard rectangle. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screen is 6.06 inches diagonally (actual viewable area is less)

Now let’s discuss everything about the camera. iPhone 12 Pro comes with the new seven-element lens Wide camera with an ƒ/1.6 aperture which is considered to be the fastest ever on an iPhone. There is a three-camera setup at the back of the iPhone, Ultra Wide, Wide, and Telephoto camera. As mentioned above, the 12 MP wide-angle lens features a ƒ/1.6 aperture. The 12 MP telephoto lens features an f/2.0 aperture with a 4x optical zoom range. The 12 MP ultrawide lens features an f/2.4 aperture with a 120° field of view. The iPhone 12 Pro has a 27 percent improved low light performance compared to iPhone 11 Pro. Night mode portraits enabled by LiDAR Scanner helps a lot during low light photography. iPhone 12 Pro supports Digital zoom up to 10x.
The iPhone 12 Pro supports HDR video recording with Dolby Vision up to 60 fps. It can record 4K at 24 fps, 30 fps, and 60 fps, 1080p at 30 fps, 60 fps and 120 fps. The front camera of the phone comes with a 12 MP wide lens that features an f/2.2 aperture.
Battery
The new Apple iPhone 12 Pro comes with a built-in rechargeable lithium‑ion battery that supports Qi wireless charging up to 7.5W and MagSafe wireless charging up to 15W. It can be charged up to 50% in about 30minutes.
Price and Release Date
Apple always manages to have an edge over its competitors due to its better features. The Google Pixel 5 released recently is not as impressive as the iPhone 12 which is one of the reasons for its lower price.
