Jumanji: The Next Level was a huge hit at the box office. It earned 800 million dollars at the box office. It had a budget of 132 million dollars. The huge success means there is going to be a sequel. It has become one of the most successful franchises. However, the first movie was a classic, but the sequels are pretty good too. Some people are calling the movie “Jumanji 4”. But, the director Jake Kasdan is calling it “Jumanji 3” because it is quite different from the original one. Either way, fans are excited about a sequel.
Jumanji 4 Release Date
It is hard to say anything about the release date of Jumanji 4 yet. Due to pandemics, they might delay the production and filming of the movie. According to Jake Kasdan, the film is in early development. The previous movies
“We’re just starting to talk about all of that, and the truth is we’ve barely started [on the film],” Kasdan explained. We were just getting into the conversation before this global calamity and we will re-engage it as soon as everybody’s settled. We all love working together and we’ve loved making these.”
Plot
Jumanji: The next level ended with the Jumanji coming to the real world. It also indicated that Dr. Smolder Bravestone will also return.
“Not much beyond what you can see there [in the credits scene],” when asked if he has the sequel plotted out. “You know, there’s hope that if this one is received in such a way, that we’re having that conversation. To me, the thing that’s always been most critical when talking about a sequel, first in the first movie and now in the possibility of another sequel is, it would have to be exciting on its own two feet in a way that’s comparable to what the first two were for me.”
“I would have to love the idea just as much. So I think there will be a third one and it’s just the earliest days of trying to figure out what that would be.”
Jumanji 4 Cast
Kevin Hart, Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black are one of the reasons for the success of the movie. All of them will return for their roles. Nick Jonas will also return for his role. Alex Wolff and Madison Iseman are also going to join the cast.

If the movie is going to be released in December like the previous movies, then we will see the trailer in July 2021. The previous movie’s trailer was released back in July 2020.
