Fast and Furious is a world-famous franchise. It mainly attracted a lot of audiences back in the 2000s. However, it has now become a giant franchise and has millions of loyal fans all around the world. The franchise is becoming famous and famous each day earning billions of dollars at the box office for years.
Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham both played their roles greatly and had an amazing bond on the screen that no one can deny. Dwayne and Jason started their fast and furious journey from 5th and 6th installment end fans are not fully satisfied and want more projects and movie with the duo.
Hobbs and Shaw is a spin-off of the movie. Spin-offs are not new for the fast and furious movies. However, directors and producers believe that Hobbs and Shaw can have a separate franchise of their one as well.
Warner Bros is working on the sequel and production is delayed due to the COVID-19.
There are other major projects that are delayed too, including fans most awaited Marvel’s movie “Black Widow”.

Plot
in the previous movies, we saw how Hobbs and Shaw were put together for a project. Shaw’s sister was accused of stealing a virus and then disappearing, she played MI6 agent. She was hiding from agent Brixton who worked for a techno-terrorism organization named Eteon. However, for the sequel, we are most probably going to see the owner and the boss of the organization.
It seems like Hobbs and Shaw will have a new project which will be related to capturing the organization leader which creates man-made virus. However, new characters will also be introduced in the movie. Ryan Reynolds is also going to be part of the project. Ryan is going to play CIA agent Lock and Kevin Heart will also be part of the project. He is going to play the role of air marshal Dickey.
Keanu Reeves to play Villian
Keanu Reeves is going to play a bad guy in the movie. He is going to be the head of the Eteon organization. He has yet to come forward and confirm the rumor but Dwanye has mentioned a lot of time that both of them are working on a project.
The release date of Hobbs and Shaw 2
The fast and furious 9 has been delayed because of the deadly coronavirus pandemic which affected more than 190 countries worldwide and it is still rapidly spreading. So it seems like the production and shooting of the movie will start a little bit late. Fast and furious 9 will be released next year so it seems like we are not getting the sequel before 2022. However, personal statements have yet to be released. The fast and furious movies warn good at the box office and mostly because of overseas release so it seems like we would have to wait for a while.
There is not much regarding the movie yet as it is too soon to say anything about the upcoming project but fans all over the world at excited.
