The Vampire Diaries started airing in 2009 and ended in 2017. There are eight seasons of The Vampire Diaries. The spin-off series The Originals started airing in 2013 and ended in 2018. Currently, the spin-off series of The Originals “Legacies” is ongoing and airing on the CW. The show first aired back in 2018 after The Originals ended. Legacies revolve around Hope Mikaelson, a tribrid, and the Salvatore School for the gifted. She is also the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson, who died in The Originals so that Hope can live a happy and peaceful life.
Legacies Season 4 is taking a break and will return in December with the episode 7 titled “Someplace Far Away from All This Violence“. She has already put Alaric Saltzman in a catatonic state so that super squad leave her be. In season 4, we saw Hope has become full tribid that means she can also tap into her vampire side. She is still a witch and a werewolf and now she has become a vampire too along with original blood. She is pretty much the strongest creature in the Vampire Diaries universe. But in this universe, “Nature always finds a loop-hole”. To kill Originals there was white oak tree. Even to kill Marcel, Freya came up with a way to kill him.
Hope can be killed using white oak tree. However, Josie is still discussing about getting to hope “Emotionally” in the promo. of Legacies Season 4 Episode 7. Lizzie Saltzman is still willing to kill “we need to kill Hope Mikaelson”.
Legacies Season 4 Episode 7
In the previous episode, Super Squad and Cleo tried to help Hope Mikaelson but they failed since Hope has turned off her humanity switch, perk of being a vampire. Something similar happened with Elena Gilbert in the Vampire Diaries after Katherine killed her brother Jeremy. Elena turned her humanity switch off and went rogue. In the upcoming promo, we saw re-emergence of Dark Josie. Dark Josie may be the only way to bring Hope Mikaelson back.
The Super Squad continues to work on helping Hope (Danielle Rose Russell), much to her dismay,
As she is the lead role, they won’t kill her character off. Most probably in the upcoming episodes Super Squad will do whatever they can to reach Hope emotionally. Same happened in The Vampire Diaries when Caroline Forbes, Elena Gilbert switched their humanity off.
