Netflix has finally confirmed the release date of the most awaited season of Lucifer. Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 is releasing this May.

Lucifer is one of the most well-known Netflix original series. The series first aired back in 2016 and is still ongoing. People are hooked to the series because of the plot and cast. Tom Ellis plays the role of Lucifer, who returns from hell to reside in Los Angeles and starts a local club. But it was not always like this. The show first aired on the Fox channel, but after season 1 and season 2 they tried to cancel the show sadly. But then Netflix came into the scene like a hero and saved the show from being canceled. There are currently 5 seasons of Lucifer on Netflix. Part 1 of Lucifer Season 5 was released last year and Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 will release in May 2021.

In Lucifer Season 5A, the devil returns to Earth but later it was revealed that it was actually his twin-brother Michael who came to Earth and was pretending to be Lucifer. Later, Lucifer also returns and the showdown between Michael and Lucifer begins. Lucifer Season 5A ended with a huge cliffhanger. Lucifer showrunners have been teasing Season 5B a lot lately.

[It’s] our most emotional chunk for all of the darkness in 5A,” he said. “Lightness is mixed in but I feel like 5A started a little darker. 5B will be both brighter and even darker still and it’s always darkest before the dawn.
