Lucifer is one of the most famous TV series on Netflix and a Netflix Original. Series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar, devil, who decides to spend some time on Earth in Los Angeles. There are four seasons of the show released till now. The show was never meant to be a Netflix Original. It was first released on Fox channel, but after season 1 and season 2 they decided to cancel it. Netflix saved it from getting canceled. It is also part of the DC TV Universe. We even saw a glimpse of Lucifer in Crises on Infinite Earths crossover. Lucifer Season 5 is going to be the final season of the series.

Lucifer Season 4 came out on 8th May 2019. It has been a year since the latest season was released. Due to COVID-19, everyone assumed that the show is going to get delayed. Also according to official sources, Lucifer Season 5 Release Date is TBD.
We are so incredibly thankful to Netflix for resurrecting our show last season. And, now, we must finish the story of Lucifer on our terms.
Plot
Lucifer Season 4 was the most amazing season, Chloe found out what Morningstar really is. Despite that, she still fell in love with him. The season was pretty emotional too. In the end, Chloe finally confessed. However, in order to protect Earth from the demons roaming around, he had to go back. We saw him ruling the Hell again.
Dennis Haysbert is going to be introduced as GOD in the upcoming season. Lucifer is going to return to Earth but it won’t happen in the initial episodes. It will take some time. However, the season-ending won’t be what fans are expecting. Eve will also be returning in Season 5.
Lucifer Season 5 Release date
13 Reasons Why recently released the teaser and revealed the release date, which is 3rd June. Lucifer Season 5 shooting was pretty much done before the Coronavirus appeared.
