MCU has big screens under its belt. No one can make their mark on the big screens like Marvel. But the Marvel-Defenders failed to make their mark on the small screens. Netflix Iron Fist and Lucas cage were both cancelled after a season. These series failed to get audience and attention as compared to the other Marvel projects. However, nothing is confirmed yet. Kevin Feige still has to come forward and confirm this rumour. Netflix and Marvel both have a contract. Marvel can not use the characters after two years of the cancellation of the shows. Netflix invests a lot on the TV shows. That is why Marvel had to wait for two years to use these characters in their movies and TV shows.

But fans have noticed that both the shows Luke Cage and Iron Fist ended back in 2018, so Marvel can use the characters now. Netflix has cancelled all the Marvel TV shows. Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher which received positive reviews from both of the critics and the audience. Netflix also tried to create a series named The defenders which had all the TV production characters. Jesica Jones, the punisher, daredevil, iron fist, and Luke cage all of them were included in the series. It did not work either. However, Marvel can create something new for the characters like Iron fist and Luke cage next month as the Netflix contract will be finally over. Fans are also excited for The Punisher as well. Marvel can reboot The Punisher was well next year.

Charlie Cox on the cancellation of Daredevil

Daredevil is also up for a reboot. However, Charlie Cox was quite saddened when the show got cancelled. If Marvel ever plans to reboot the show, It is not sure whether or not Charlie Cox will come back to play the role of Matt. He said this in an interview with Entertainment Tonight:

“A lot of us really expected to keep going, and I certainly did,” he tells EW. “The truth is, I felt like we had a lot of stories to tell, and although I understand [the cancellation], I’m very saddened by that.

“It’s just how business works,” he continues. “But also, these characters mean a lot to people. It’s weird to think there’s a chance I won’t be playing Matt Murdock ever again. That’s a bizarre feeling because that character has been such a huge part of my life for the last four and a half years.”Playing lawyer Matt (by day) and the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen (by night) was a “dream job,” “I loved it,” he confessed. “It’s been just the most incredible job for me. It’s so fun to do. You get to do all the acting obviously, which is great, but then there’s also this really fun physical aspect to it with all the stunts and the fight choreography.”

It must be an emotional trauma for Charlie that he had to say goodbye to the character he liked the most. Krysten Ritter is also excited for the future of Jessica Jones. Even though the show is canceled. She would love to play the character someday.. According to her, the character meant a lot to her.
