Money Heist, also known as, La Casa de Papel, is a famous Non-English Netflix Original series. Money Heist Season 5 is going to be the last season of the Spanish show. Volume 1 of Season 5 was released today and it ended on a huge cliffhanger. Volume 2 will release in December this year. The latest season is already #4 on Netflix today in many countries.
The latest season was full of twists. As Professor was occupied with Alicia, the whole squad was on their own. She tracked down Professor’s hideout and Season 4 ended with Alicia holding a gun to Professor’s head. However, Professor got lucky as Tamayo fabricated evidence against Alicia and made her a traitor in front of everyone. Alicia was left with no other choice but to seek help from Professor.
Up till now, Oslo, Moscow, Berlin and Nairobi died. In the Volume 1 of Money Heist Season 5, Tokyo blew herself up in order to protect the whole squad and died.
Is Tokyo really dead?
Arturo messed up the situation in the latest season. He captured the squad’s arsenal and tried to kill everyone. However, Mónica Gaztambide, also known as Stockholm, shot him. He was sent outside to get proper medical attention. Tamayo involved the military and a squad was sent inside. They were unlike anything the squad has ever faced. Tokyo was left with no choice as she was shot already, so she decided to stay back and buy the squad some time. Gandia was also part of this military operation. He was going to shoot Tokyo however, tokyo had something else in mind. She blew herself up. Gandia is most probably dead along with few other military squad members, though most of them survived. Everyone was heartbroken but Professor and Rio were devasted by Tokyo’s death. Money Heist Season 5 Volume 1 concluded with Tokyo’s death.
