According to NASA, an Asteroid OR2, the size of Mount Everest is going to approach our planet Earth in April. It is approaching the earth at 19,461 miles per hour. An asteroid this big, if it comes in contact with Earth it could kill millions of people instantly.
According to Alan Duffy:
It would have hit with over 30 times the energy of the atomic blast at Hiroshima.
NASA named it Asteroid OR2 1998 (52768)
Nasa has named this asteroid OR2, it was first spotted in 1998. The Virtual Telescope is going to Livestream the asteroid on April 28, 2020.
Due to the asteroid’s near-Earth approaches as well as its massive size, 52768 (1998 OR2) poses a huge threat to the planet. If the asteroid’s current trajectory slightly changes, which can easily , it could end up on a collision course with Earth. https://t.co/EfMQYoVXyP

In 2013, an asteroid of 60 feet entered the Earth’s atmosphere and injured about 1500 people in Russia, There was no direct impact, all the injuries were indirect, mainly from the broken windows due to the shock waves. The meteor was brighter than the sun.

Asteroid OR2 is classified as the potentially hazardous asteroid by NASA. Also, this is not the only asteroid, there are other potentially dangerous asteroids lurking around the space.

Earthlings are in for yet another close shave as Asteroid OR2 will make ‘close approach’ at 4 million miles on 29th April 2020. With no reason to panic for this, take needful steps to curb Covid-19 instead. #Asteroid2020 #NASA #UPDATE pic.twitter.com/McLoyr427O
