Netflix is working on a Birdbox Spinoff. The new spin-off movie is going to be filmed in Spain. The movie is also going to be in Spanish. The movie is about a world where you can not see freely anymore without going insane. Birdbox proved to be the biggest hit on the platform.
26 million people watched the movie in the second week of its release. However, this is the reason Netflix create a spin-off movie. This spin-off will give us a hint of what is happening in parts of the world. Sandra Bullock was the lead of the previous movie. She got a lot of praise for her role. Sandra Bullock is mostly known for her roles in romantic comedies. That is why her appearance in a thriller movie was quite shocking for fans.

Josh Malerman is going to write the story for the spin-off as well. He wrote the first book as well. He hinted about the spin-off in one of his interviews as well:
“I can’t say much, but I can say that it is in development,” he confirmed. “Sometimes it’s weird, all this secrecy, but I’m game.”
There is not much about the Birdbox Spinoff plot on the internet yet. There is no information regarding the plot of the movie. Malorie Hayes successfully finds a safe place for her and her children. But, there are still a lot of unanswered questions. We will see what is the situation around the world. It is going to be similar to “The Walking Dead” but without zombies.

There is no news about the release date of the Birdbox Spinoff yet. There are also rumors about the sequel of bird-box as well. It is not confirmed yet if we will see Sandra Bullock in a sequel or spin-off yet. Dylan Clark and Chris Morgan are going to direct and write the movie as well.
