Netflix Elite is a thriller teen-drama Spanish TV series. It is also a Netflix Original. The series follows three students, Samuel, Nadia, and Christan, who get transferred to Las Encinas High School because their school was destroyed. So, the conflicts between scholarship students and rich students lead to the murder of a rich girl, Marina. The show first aired back in 2018 and is still ongoing. There are four students on Netflix and the series was renewed for a fifth season.
Netflix announced the release date of Elite Season 5. Elite Season 4 was released back in June 2021. Few main characters left the cast and Elite Season 5 is going to introduce new cast members. Ester Exposito left the cast after 3rd season. There were rumors that she is going to return for the fifth season. However, she denied those rumors saying those are “fake”. Elite co-creator said:
Élite is a universe I always want to return to, As a creator and as a spectator. It stimulates me, comforts me, encourages me. And the fifth season has been so great, so alive, that I know I’m going to come back to it more than twice and three times. It’s a feast for the senses. You’re going to enjoy it.
Elite Season 5 Release Date
Elite Season 5 is set to release on April 8, 2022. Netflix announced the release date recently.
Plot
Elite Season 4 introduced new cast members too. Season 5 will pick up after Phillipe’s New Year’s party. In Season 4, Ari’s mystery incident was revealed. Ari helps Mencia in escaping from Armando. Armando ends up hurting Ari badly. Guzman ends up avenging Ari by killing Armando with a flare gun. Rebe and Samu then help Guzman in hiding the body. After this, Guzman and Ander go on a trip. Elite Season 5 will most likely introduce a new mystery. We can expect Ari and Samu’s relationship since Guzman left. As Armando is no longer part of Mencia’s life, she can now live peacefully.
