Netflix Elite is a thriller teen-drama Spanish TV series. It is also a Netflix Original. The series follows three students, Samuel, Nadia, and Christan, who gets transferred to Las Encinas High School because their school was destroyed. So, the conflicts between scholarship students and rich students lead to the murder of a rich girl, Marina. The show first aired back in 2018 and is still ongoing. There are currently three seasons of Elite on Netflix, and the series is renewed for a fourth season.
The series has received positive reviews from the viewers because of the cast and the plot. However, some of the cast members left the show, Mina El Hammani, Danna Paola, Ester Expósito, Álvaro Rico, and Jorge López left the cast. Since they are introducing a new batch in the Las Encinas High School, Elite Season will reportedly focus on the new cast (New students):

We all know the series won’t be the same without Carla, Samuel, Nadia and Lu. As the whole story revolved around Guzman and Nadia, and, Carla and Samuel.

Omar Ayuso and Itzan Escamilla leaving Elite after season 4.
Two more iconic actors of the Elite are also leaving the series after Season 4. Elite Season 4 will be the final season for Itzan, who plays Samuel in the series, and Omar, who plays the role of Omar in the series. They confirmed this news in an interview, when asked if this is going to be the last season for them Omar replied with a “Yes” and Itzan added:
There is a desire to end it, but I know that I will miss it a lot later. It’s like school: you go there, you make relationships and then you miss it although you want to do something else

Fans believe that Itzan a.k.a Samuel is going to die in Season 4. Elite Season 4 was renewed and confirmed back in May 2020. However, there is no news about the release date yet because of the pandemic.
Danna Paola would like to reprise her role
Danna Paola, who played the role of Lu in the series won’t be in Season 4 as she also left the cast. However, she said she would love to reprise her role as Lucrecia in the series but right now she is completely devoted to her music career. She said:
Elite is still part of me, of my life, Lucrecia too. Even if I am not here this season, if there are others, I will be happy to be back
Back in August, the filming of Season 4 was shut down because of the Coronavirus. However, they started filming again last month. According to fans on Twitter, the cast is filming both Season 4 and Season 5 back to back:
