Enola Holmes proved to be a hit at Netflix. So, it makes sense they are definitely going to create a sequel to the movie as well. A lot of movies could not get their theatrical release due to the corona-virus pandemic, that is why Enola Holmes was released at the streaming giant. Sherlock Holmes is one of the famous characters in history. The character has been used in different forms by different artists. Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes has based on Sherlock’s sister who begins a journey to find her mother.
The movie was top 10 in more than 20 countries. The movie stayed in the top 10 categories for a month. However, Netflix did not reveal any data regarding how many people watched the movie. But, the movie got positive reviews from critics all around the world.
Millie bobby brown as the producer
Millie Bobby Brown was the producer for the Enola Holmes. Paige, her sister gave the idea to bring the story of Enola to the big screens. Paige Brown is described as a “book-worm”. She told Millie to read the books. She even said this in an interview;
“[Enola] really just struck me as a really great character,” said Paige Brown. “Millie at the time was a bit younger [than Enola] but I was thinking ahead and thought, ‘This would be really great onscreen.’”

There is no news about the release date of Netflix Enola Holmes 2 yet. But, if Netflix decides to create a sequel, we might get it by the end of 2022. However, nothing is confirmed right now. The first movie started filming in 2019 and was released in September 2020. So, it is hard to say anything about the sequel yet.
Plot
The first movie is based on the first book “The Case of the Missing Marquess”. So, the Netflix Enola Holmes 2 is going to be based on the second book in the series. “The case of the left-handed lady”. In the second book, Enole sets her journey to find the woman who creates the beautiful sketches. But, the woman, Cecily suddenly disappears from her bedroom without any trace.
Harry Bradbeer even said this about the script of the first movie:
“The thing that I noticed first about the script was that it was about my favorite topic, which is dysfunctional families coming to terms with each other, who has long been a fan of Sherlock Holmes. “It struck me that [this film] brought one of my enthusiasms and another — which is Sherlock — together. You got to see him from another side and you got to meet his mother, and better understand the character who was always meant to be quite unknowable.”
