Netflix’s famous YA show based on the Italian animated series (Winx club) is returning to the streaming platform for season 2. The show follows the journey of Five fairies at Alfea high. Netflix announced the news on their virtual event “Netflix Geeked Week”. According to the week on “Netflix’s Geeked” Twitter account, the show will return in autumn.
Netflix also shared the news of “Flora” will appear in Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2. Fans criticized the show for not introducing the character in season one of the show. However, Netflix heard the fan requests and complaints and has decided to introduce the character in season 2. Flora is one of the most famous characters from “Winx club“. She is the Guardian Fairy of Nature and she gets her powers from flowers, plants, and trees.

Plot
Season one ended with a cliff-hanger. Rosalind takes over the school after Bloom and other fairies help Bloom. But it soon becomes obvious that Rosalind is not trustworthy. Bloom and her friends visit other worlds and stay with Bloom’s parents for a while as she reveals that she is a fairy. Rosalind has taken over Alfea and Farah might be dead.
Brian Young, the creator of The Vampire diaries will return as the showrunner and executive producer for season 2 of the show as well said this during an interview about the Wupcoming season of the show;
“Season 1’s six episodes hardly scraped the surface of this tremendously fascinating realm and its strong fairies. I’m excited to discover more about Aisha, Stella, Terra, and Musa as Bloom’s narrative progresses. And you never know who will turn up at Alfea the following semester “
