Back in 2017, Netflix announced that the tech giant has acquired Millarworld, the comic-book company that was founded in 2014. It was originally founded by Mark Miller, who was behind Kick-Ass, Kingsman, and Old Man Logan. Mark Miller sold his comic-book company/universe for $31 million to Netflix. Jupiter’s Legacy is an upcoming Netflix Original series based on Mark Miller’s comics of the same name.
The series is being directed by former Daredevil producer and director “Steven S. DeKnight”. Daredevil and all other Marvel TV shows that aired on Netflix were canceled by Netflix. Soon after cancelation, Netflix introduced its own original show “Umbrella Academy”. Jupiter’s Legacy is said to be one of the best of Miller’s works and now it is getting a TV Series adaption by Netflix. Netflix chief content officer said about Mark Miller:

Netflix Jupiter’s Legacy Release Date
Netflix Jupiter’s Legacy is set to release on May 7th, 2021. This news was confirmed by Mark Miller himself.
Plot
Since the series is based on comics of the same name, the plot will be similar too. Mark Miller confirmed that Jupiter’s Legacy one comic will be covered in the upcoming Netflix series. The super-powered children are struggling to live up to their parents’ legacy who are the original super-heroes. According to Netflix official synopsis:
“After nearly a century of keeping mankind safe, the world’s first generation of superheroes must look to their children to continue the legacy. But tensions rise as the young superheroes, hungry to prove their worth, struggle to live up to their parents’ legendary public reputations — and exacting personal standards.”
