Netflix Lupin is a French mystery-thriller series based on the adventures of Arsène Lupin. The plot of the French series revolves around Assane Diop, a gentlemen thief who is hell-bent on avenging his father. Lupin Season 1 aired this year on January 8th. Part 1 includes only 5 episodes. Netflix announced on Twitter that Lupin Season 2 is renewed.

Season 1 of Lupin ended with a cliffhanger, so it was obvious Netflix is going to renew it for a second season. Lupin Season 2 has no release date yet. However, according to the tweet, it will be airing in the summer of 2021, so our guess is June or July. Just like Season 1, Lupin Season 2 is going to have 5 episodes.
This is not the first time on Netflix that a non-English series got this much fame. Money Heist, Dark, Elite, and many other Netflix shows went trending after the release and now Lupin is breaking the records.
The story follows a frame job that wrecked Assane’s family. Now he wants to avenge his father and expose Hubert Pellegrini and his family. At the end of Season 1, Assane’s son Raoul was kidnapped by Hubert Pellegrini men. The police officer who always thought that the thief is using Arsène Lupin’s methods shouts “Lupin” and Assane actually turn around. It seems that Assane is going to tell Claire everything he has been doing lately.
