American Horror story used to air on FOX but the show Ratched is going to be released on Netflix. However, he is coming back with another horror series for his fans. Ryan Murphy never disappoints his fans and always comes up with chilling ideas. American Horror story is famous for its chilling and horrifying themes and stories. But it seems like it is going to have tough competition as Ryan Murphy is back with another project “Ratched”.
Scream Queen was canceled after season 2. It used to air on FOX, and fans were sad. He also directed the American hit series “Glee” and was involved in “The politician” another Netflix original series. But it seems like Ryan has got something else for his fans.
What is the story of “Ratched”?
The series is completely inspired by the novel “One flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest”. There is also a movie on it. The series is going to be based on ” Nurse Ratched”. The nurse is torturous and plays mind games on her patients. She uses her power to abuse the patients. She tortures anyone who comes in her way. Sarah Paulson is going to play the role of “Nurse Ratched”.
The whole book which was released in 1947 revolves around the nurse who will do anything to torture and take revenge from people. She is completely psychotic and scary.
Similarity with American Horror Story Season 2?
There are a lot of similarities between season 2 of American Horror story and Ratched. American horror story had its fair share of psychotic nurses. In season 2 of the American horror story “Asylum,” Sarah Paulson played the role of “Lana winters”. She played as a journalist who was snooping around an asylum to get a thrilling story. But she ended up in the asylum as a patient. She could not escape from Sister Jude’s psychotic plans.
Many other American Horror story big names might make an appearance on the show.
Sharon Stone in Ratched
Sharon stone is a famous actress and has a great reputation in Hollywood. She is also going to be part of the series. She is going to play a character named “Cynthia”.
Ryan Murphy is completely proud of his cast. He is quite excited for his recent project and said this during a interview:
