Pirates of the Caribbean is a box office hit fantasy film series produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The first film aired back in 2003, which was a huge success. Walt Disney Pictures is behind this film series, the main reason for its fame is Johnny Depp. He played the role of Captain Jack Sparrow and received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, which is the 2nd part of the sequel, also became a box office hit in 2006. There are a total of five parts of this adventure film sequel. Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is in the making.
In 2016, his life was pretty much devastated because of his wife who filed a restraining order against him. She claimed that Johnny Depp used to verbally and physically abuse her. In 2017, Depp and his wife finally got divorced, after the divorce Depp filed a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife. However, things messed up again in 2018 for him, when he punched the manager of his film.

Later, the audio was leaked, in which Amber Heard admits hitting Johnny Depp. His personal life has become really complicated and nobody is sure if he is going to show up in the Pirates of the Caribbean 6 as Captain Jack Sparrow. Currently, producers plan to go with the female pirate role to replace Johnny Depp. While there is no news who is going to be this new leading female private, new news has surfaced that Robert Downey Jr is eyed for a captain’s role in Pirates of the Caribbean 6. He has been offered a supporting role in the new installment in the series. However, it is yet to be revealed if he’s up for this role or not.
Pirates of Caribbean 6 Release Date
The movie is currently in the making, however, because of COVID-19, the project stopped for now. The movie is set to release in late 2021, however, no official date has been announced yet.
