PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS Mobile also known as PUBG Mobile is now banned in Pakistan. It is one of the best battle-royale games on the Android and iOS platforms, developed by Tencent Games. It has 100,000,000+ installs on Google Play Store, making it the most played battle royale game.
Two months ago, Lahore High Court ordered Pakistan Telecommunication Authority to ban PUBG Mobile because it is highly addictive and dangerous for health. It is also reducing the ability of decision making in children.

PTA has received numerous complaints against PUBG wherein it is stated that the game is addictive, wastage of time and poses a serious negative impact on the physical and psychological health of the Children.
The government has decided to impose a temporary ban on the famous battle-royale game PUBG Mobile. PTA also came up with a platform where people can share their feedback regarding the ban. People can send their feedback directly to PTA on this address “consultation-pubg@pta.gov.pk”. They have also given a deadline for feedback which is July 10, 2020.

Recently, a second-year student took his own life because his parents stopped him from playing the game. Because of the recent events, PTA has imposed the ban today.
