Riverdale fans are convinced that The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev is joining the cast of Riverdale. She was seen hanging out with the Riverdale cast members and Nina Dobrev also uploaded pictures with the Riverdale cast. Riverdale is a teen-mystery drama that is currently airing on CW. There are currently four seasons released yet. Season 4 was not supposed to end so soon, but due to COVID-19, pandemic, the season was cut short. Because of the COVID-19, the shooting was shut down and the season was cut short. We are going to see the senior prom in Riverdale Season 5 now. Riverdale Season 5 is currently under production in Vancouver.
The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev recently shared pictures with Camila Mendes, Lili Reinhart, and Madelaine Petsch on her official Instagram account. Nina Dobrev played the major roles in The Vampire Diaries including Elena Gilbert, Katherine Pierce, and Tatia Petrova. She was a part of The Vampire Diaries till Season 6, after that she said Goodbye to The Vampire Diaries universe. However, she reappeared in the final season to wrap up the season. Nina is a Canadian actress also famous for playing in the Degrassi: The Next Generation, Fam, and Let’s be Cops.
Nina Dobrev in Riverdale Season 5?
On the caption of the photos she shared, she wrote “All the worlds colliding”. This could mean a lot of things but fans are hoping that she is going to join Riverdale. Fans already have a theory, that she is going to play the Jessica (Live-in Girlfriend of Jughead Jones”). According to The Hashtag Show, Jughead will also break up with Betty Copper, and after the time jump, he is going to be in a new relationship. Jessica, Jughead’s live-in girlfriend, there is no news on her as of now. The producers and writers have yet to reveal the cast for the role of Jessica.
Nina Dobrev is in Vancouver to film her new upcoming Netflix film “Love Hard“. Riverdale’s Charles Melton is also a part of this Rom-Com Netflix movie. There is no release date revealed for the Love Hard. However, Riverdale Season 5 is going to air next year in January. The release date was revealed by the CW along with the release date of other CW shows. Currently, there is no news if Nina Dobrev is joining Riverdale or not. As mentioned above, Nina is in Vancouver to film her upcoming film and she is friends with the Riverdale cast since both The Vampire Diaries and Riverdale are CW TV Shows. So, most probably she is not joining the Riverdale Season 5.
Season five is graduation and then they’re going to jump cut seven years after a few episodes. Which was a decision not to stay in college. It completely foregoes the college time in the chronological order and just jumps cut. I’ve read the first six episodes. It’s super interesting. I’m excited to do it. I’m up to my old shenanigans. But, I’m excited to get back to work.
