Riverdale is a teen-mystery drama that is currently airing on CW. There are currently four seasons released yet, and the season four finale is going to happen the day after tomorrow. Season 4 was not supposed to end so soon, but due to COVID-19, pandemic, episode-19 “Killing Mr. Honey” will be the last episode. The latest season was full of some major plot-twists, like jughead faking his own death, and some barchie moments. Recently, Lili and Cole got some unwanted gossip too on their side on twitter. Cole also claimed that after he said he wants to keep his life private, he started to get “death threats” too.
I tolerate a lot of rumors and slander from people online claiming to be my fans.’ Fans who feel entitled to my privacy precisely because I never indulged them. But attacking my friends, baseless accusations, leaking my address, and sending death threats are all qualities of insanity and fanaticism.
This made Lili Reinhart really angry and she started to tweet against those people:

This all happened recently, but Lili deleted those tweets afterward, but let’s back to the topic. Riverdale Season 4 Episode 18 finally cleared many cliffhangers that were left in Episode 17, also revealed where the tapes were coming from. Also, we got to see Hiram’s dark side again. Also, it is possible Mr. Honey is behind the tapes, we saw him visiting the video store, where all the town secrets were hidden in the form of videos. Fans were expecting barchie to happen, but episode 18 let them down. Riverdale Season 4 Finale will clear the videotape plot.

Riverdale Season 5
As we all know, after all this, Archie, Betty, Veronica and Jughead will be going to different colleges, for example, betty going to yale. Archie is ready to get into the Navy program. Obviously, they can’t keep showing different colleges, different places at the same time. Most of all, they won’t be together. Riverdale is based on these four, so they deserve the screentime the most. Riverdale Season 5 will be a time jump after they finally graduate from college. Also, Skeet Ulrich teased the time jump.
I know they want to take the show in a little bit of a different direction next season, too, and jump five years ahead
Riverdale Season 5 Cast
All cast will be the same as before, KJ APA playing Archie. Camila Mendes playing Veronica, Lili Reinhart playing Betty Copper. Cole Sprouse playing jughead. However, Skeet Ulrich and Marisol Nichols are leaving Riverdale. So, we won’t be saying FP and Hermione Lodge in Riverdale Season 5 Cast.
Plot
Riverdale Season 5 plot will focus on life after graduation, Jughead is going to receive a letter from the University of Iowa to submit an essay/story. So, most probably he will get selected. Betty is leaving for Yale, and Archie agreed on joining the navy. Our favorite characters are going to be adults in the Riverdale Season 5.
They are probably going to show us the time-jump in the latest episode, I hope.
Release Date
Riverdale Season 5 was supposed to release in October 2020, but it will probably get delayed because of the current crises. It’s not getting better anytime soon, so they might delay the release to 2021.
