Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is expected to release in August 2020. Apple’s iPhone 12 release is delayed because of Coronavirus as it seems Apple is suffering a lot from it. Most of Apple’s stores are shut down or working in a limited capacity. On March 6, 2020, Samsung also released its flagship Galaxy S20 series. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is currently Samsung’s most powerful phone, equipped with Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 and 16 GB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 vs iPhone 12

Samsung and Apple’s Rivalry has been going for a long time. Apple is Samsung’s top competitor. The Rivalry grows fierce every year. It is hard to say right now since both companies have yet to confirm the specifications of their latest flagships. We are going to compare them on the bases of rumors and leaks.

According to Cnet, iPhone 11 and 12 could look similar. If that’s the case, the screen size of the iPhone 12 is going to be greater than 6-inches, expected size is 6.7-inches. The Major design is rumored to be the fourth camera on the back. There is a high chance it is going to have a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There are rumors that are introducing the LiDAR sensor in the fourth camera in the iPhone 12. Also according to the leak, it is going to have stylus which makes it more competitive against Galaxy Note 20.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 design is going to be similar to Samsung Galaxy S20. From the renders on the Windows United website, Galaxy Note 20 is introducing a new design concept “under-screen camera”. The front camera in the center seemed off. Also, it is going to be equipped with an S-Pen as usual and three cameras on the back. But Galaxy Note 20+ is going to have four cameras.

iPhone 12 is going to be equipped with Apple A14 Bionic Chipset. iPhone 11 had Apple A13 Bionic so it is an upgrade. Also, there will be 4-6 GB Ram in this smartphone, which is more than enough to rival other powerful smartphones since Apple A13 was considered to be the fastest, it has A14. There were rumors that Apple is going to introduce a 1 Terabyte storage phone, but we don’t think that is going to happen on the iPhone 12. It will have some variants, 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB.

According to the reports, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is going to be equipped with Snapdragon 865+. There will be 8 GB RAM in the Galaxy Note 20 (Normal) model, which is quite enough to rival with any other smartphone considering it is going to have Snapdragon 865. It is going to have three variants also 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB.

Camera Comparision: Samsung Galaxy Note 20 vs iPhone 12

Leaks suggest that there are going to be three cameras on the back on iPhone 12. The first camera is a 64 MP wide camera with an f/1.6. The second one is a 24 MP telephoto camera with 5x zoom. The third one is a 12 MP Ultra-wide camera. The front-facing camera is 12 MP with f/2.2.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 camera setup is pretty similar to Samsung Galaxy S20. However, leaks suggest that it is going to be equipped with three rear-facing cameras. Some say it is going to be similar to Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra which has four cameras. If that’s the case the camera setup will be 12 MP wide + 64 MP telephoto + 12 MP ultrawide + 0.3 MP time-of-flight.

Apple iPhone 12 is going to have Non-removable Li-Ion 3110 mAh battery, Fast charging and Qi wireless charging supported.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 has 4300mAh Non-removeable battery.

It is really hard to say which one is better, but Apple introducing the LiDAR in the fourth camera in iPhone 12 puts Apple at an advantage. Samsung is also thinking about removing the Time of Flight feature, which puts Samsung at a disadvantage.
