Taking a call on your smartphone without having to speak to the caller is a great thing. The Bixby Text Call feature in Samsung ONE UI 5 is designed to make this easier. It enables you to take a call in a variety of environments. This feature is especially useful when you’re in a noisy environment. It also allows you to answer calls in a way that suits your preference.

The Bixby Text Call feature is one of the most talked about features in One UI 5. While Samsung hasn’t rolled it out yet in the US, it is already available in Korea. It will also be available in English in the near future. It is expected to arrive in early 2023.

Samsung ONE UI 5 New Features

Intelligent Wi-Fi

Among the latest features of Samsung One UI 5.0 is the new Intelligent Wi-Fi option. This feature gives users in-depth information about the wireless network that they are connected to.

You can access this feature by going to Settings> Wi-Fi> Intelligent Wi-Fi. You can then select any of the four options that are available. These options include Prioritize important data, Prioritize data connections, Auto Hotspot connection, and Suspicious network detection. You can also access the developer settings of the Intelligent Wi-Fi feature.

Once you access the developer settings of the Intelligent Wi-Fi option, you can also view in-depth connectivity information. This includes information on the network’s bands and the performance of the channel. You can also view historical data plots. These plots can help you determine where your Wi-Fi connection is dropping.

Split screen layouts on the Edge panel

Using the Edge Panel feature in Samsung ONE UI 5, users can switch between full screen and split screen views to get more work done. In order to do this, users can swipe the screen from left or right, or tap on a split icon on the panel.

The Stories feature is also included in One UI 5. This is a new way to showcase photos or videos, without having to open the Camera app. The feature now includes more transition options, as well as text options.

One UI 5.0 also includes a new way to customize notifications. The option is located in the notifications shade. This allows users to block notifications that are of no use to them. The feature also allows users to change the direction of scrolling for the touchpad.
