Sherlock Holmes is one of the hits of Robert Downey Jr. Warner Bros wanted to release threequel so bad after the success of the sequel. But Robert Downey Jr was working on it on Iron Man in MCU phase 1. So things were pretty busy for Robert. But after the tragic death of Tony Stark in MCU world fans were dishearted. But they are truly glad that Robert Downey Jr is returning to the big screens with not only one but two movies.
He is also going to play the role of Dr.Dolittle. But, he is going to reprise the role of Victorian Detective Sherlock Holmes.
Cast returning for their roles in Sherlock Holmes
Both Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law are returning for their roles. Both have them have been good friends for years. Even though they did not share the screen for a long time.
However, fans are truly excited about the upcoming movie.
Directors
Guy Ritchie directed the first two parts of the movie. Ritchie’s direction is remarkable. Both of the movies did well at the box office. But, this time he is not returning to direct the movie. It was a shock and fans were curious to know why is he not returning for the third party.
But, Fletcher who is known for directing mostly music biographies directed the movie with a passion. He is known for directing Bohemian Rhapsody. It was based on the life of iconic singer Freddie Mercury. However, we are truly excited to see the movie now as it is directed by Fletcher.
He also worked as an actor and ironic he also worked in a movie directed by Guy Ritchie.
Jude Law and Robert’s Chemistry:
Jude Law and Robert both of them are good friends in real life too. Jude plays the role, Dr. John Watson in the movie. Both of them have good chemistry on screens and offscreen as well. We can not deny this.
When Jude Law had to take a role on Captain Marvel he phoned Robert Downey Jr for advice. It seems like both of them have a nice and strong bond. Their chemistry made the movie more iconic and good to watch.
Plot
We do not know much about the plot yet. But it is definitely going to be epic as both Jude and Robert have returned for the roles. But we believe that it will be different than the last parts. It is still early to say anything about the plot of the movie yet.
Release Date
Warner Bros is going to release the movie on December 20, 2021. We still have to wait for like a year. Avatar 2 is also going to hit the cinemas at the same time. It is going to have tough competition. Both of the previous movies earned more than 500 million dollars. So., we are hoping that this part will do good as compared to the previous ones.
Peaky Blinders Paul Anderson will play a role in the movie.
Peaky Blinder’s Paul Anderson is going to make an appearance in the movie. He plays Arthur Shelby in the show. Fans are really excited to see him in the movie.
