It was a big shock for fans when they got to hear that Spider-Man is leaving Disney\Marvel world. Both Sony and Disney are having a difficult time finding common ground when it comes to Spiderman.
But, this does not mean that there are not going to be new spiderman movies. It seems like they have a lot in store when it comes to spiderman. The new ideas and projects they want spiderman to be part of it. Sadly, we would not see Spiderman in the avenger’s world anymore. But Sony has a great plan for the spiderman movies.
A lot of fans were worried about the future of Spiderman movie series, people really like Tom Holland as Spider-Man and it makes sense. But, you do not have to worry Sony has the best plan to gain the attention of the audience again.
It seems like things didn’t work out between Disney and Sony as we thought.
There are many new projects which are going to be released next year including a Venom movie and Morbius the vampire movie casting Jared Leto. It was quite a shook for fans when they heard about the Morbius movie, they were not expecting them to create a movie based on Morbius. But Sony is going to release Morbius soon.
Crossover: Spider-Man, Venom, and Morbius
Now Spider-Man is completely on the hand of Sony, they are definitely planning a crossover. They have been talking about the crossover for a while now.
In an interview with Variety, Sony CEO Tony Vinciquerra has let the future team-up slip, whether it be accidentally or on purpose. He was explaining why he thought the web-slinger would do well without the help of the Avengers, based on past Spider-Man flicks, when he spilled the beans, saying:
“Spider-Man was fine before the event movies, did better with the event movies, and now that we have our own universe, he will play off the other characters as well. I think we’re pretty capable of doing what we have to do here.”
It seems like they gave the project a lot of thinking and they are going to bring something that will win the hearts of millions of fans all around the world. It still may be a sad thing for Marvel fans but it doesn’t mean that we are not excited for the thrilling crossover.
Tony revealed the idea very early, it seems like they are really vocal and excited about the new project.
It is still not revealed when we are going to see this crossover and in which movie but it seems like a crossover is near.
Jared Leto’s #Morbius looks pretty safe. More interested that the #Vulture popped up – Could mean that #Venom has a truly solid shot at meeting up with your friendly, neighborhood Tom Holland #Spiderman. https://t.co/q830sCqCvq— Jessica Chobot (@JessicaChobot) January 13, 2020
