The Vampire Diaries ended three years ago and it’s spin-off show The Originals ended two years ago. The spin-off of Originals is still ongoing “Legacies”. Legacies TV Show is based on Hope Mikaelson, a tribrid, daughter of Klaus, and the Salvatore School for the gifted ran by Alaric Saltzman. Elena and Damon died in the final episode of The Vampire Diaries. They skipped the timeline where Damon and Elena lived happily as Husband and Wife after the death of Stefan Salvatore. The Vampire Diaries ended with Elena achieving the peace and Damon meeting Stefan in the afterlife. Alaric and Caroline started the school for the supernatural kids.
We also saw Klaus Mikaelson wrote a huge cheque for the school. In Originals, we saw a glimpse of Elena’s life after Stefan’s death. Elena after waking up finally lives the life she always dreamt about. She joins a medical college and after graduating opens a clinic with Dr. Elena Salvatore’s name on it. Both Damon Salvatore and Elena Gilbert are alive in the Legacies timeline, they even have a daughter named “Stefanie Salvatore”. She was mentioned in Legacies Season 1 Episode 10. She is pretty young, younger than the Salvatore Twins. Last year, Julie plec said:

While there is no news on Stefanie Salvatore, and who is going to play that role. We have some suggestions for her role.
Mackenzie Foy
Mackenzie Foy is a young American actress famous for her role in Twilight Saga: Breaking Down as Renesmee Cullen. She is 19 years old and has appeared in really famous movies. She also appeared in the award-winning film Interstellar.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is really similar to The Vampire Diaries as it also has a supernatural plot. Since Mackenzie already has appeared in a film having a supernatural plot she is best suited for the role.
Lola Flanery
Lola Flanery is a 15 years old American actress famous for her role in Home again, The 100, and, Shadowhunters. She got the looks, also she did the role of Seelie Queen in the Shadowhunters tv series, a similar supernatural plot TV series. Stefanie Salvatore is young probably in her early teens, Lola Flanery is also young, she is also best suited for this role.
Elle Fanning
Elle Fanning is a 22 years old American actress, famous for her role in the Maleficent, Teen Spirit, and a famous Netflix Movie “All the bright places”. She has also appeared in multiple famous Movies. She can also pull off the role of “Stefanie Salvatore” in Legacies, a spinoff of The Vampire Diaries.
