Netflix’s Fate: The Winx Saga became a number in the USA and other countries. The show is inspired by Nickelodeon’s animated series “Winx Club“. But, the show was a disappointment for a lot of viewers. Fans did not expect it to be dark like the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. They expected that Netflix will stick to the original plot of Nickelodean’s show. Netflix renewed Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2
Another thing that disappointed the fans was the fact that Tecna and Flora were not part of the show. These two missing fairies made fans furious and they took over Twitter to show their displeasure. Even though the show got a lot of negative criticism, the show was still on the Netflix top charts.
But, it got positive comments as well. Some of them pointed that it could be a better show if they changed the name of the show. The show is nothing like the animated series and it would be better if they will call it something else else than “Winx Saga“.
FATE: The Winx Saga Season 2
The show is getting a season 2. Netflix confirmed the news and a teaser Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 was also released on Netflix’s official account. There is no news about the release date of season 2 of the show. But it is expected to release in late 2021.
Plot
Season one ended with a cliff-hanger. Rosalind takes over the school after Bloom and other fairies help Bloom. But it soon becomes obvious that Rosalind is not trustworthy. Bloom and her friends visit other worlds and stay with Bloom’s parents for a while as she reveals that she is a fairy. Rosalind has taken over Alfea and Farah might be dead.
Tecna and Flora’s appearance
Two of the most fan-favorite fairies from the Winx Club were not in season one, fans are expecting to see them in Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2. The show is quite different from the animated series so it is hard to say what will happen in season 2 of the show. Brian Young said this in an interview about the show’s future seasons;
“The six episodes in season one only scratched the surface of this incredibly rich world and the powerful fairies who inhabit it. As Bloom’s story continues to evolve, I can’t wait for you to learn even more about Aisha, Stella, Terra, and Musa! And you never know who might show up at Alfea next term…”
Flora and Tecna were not in season one of the show. But, it seems like they are going to appear in season 2 of the show. Even Abigail Cowen ( Bloom) revealed in an interview that there is a possibility for Tecna and Flora to appear in season 2 of the show.
