Thanos is the most hated villain in the history of MCU. However, it is the most famous and toughest one too. That is why MCU is not quite done with the character yet. Even though our super-heroes killed the villain twice, but MCU is still planning to bring the character back to the small screen.
It was also revealed that Thanos was behind the evil deeds of Loki and other villains in the MCU world. He was a mere puppeteer that controlled them to get his work done. There is no doubt that it was Marvel’s most scary character. But due to some odd reasons, this character became so much important among fans. They want to see more of Thanos. Thanos Prequel is all set to get a TV series.
Will Josh Brolin returns to play Thanos?
The biggest question is if Josh Brolin will return to play his dangerous and famous character in the Thanos Prequel. Brolin definitely thinks of Thanos as a savior of mankind. He thinks of him as a hero than a villain.
He said in an interview with Entertainment weekly:
You think of overpopulation and killing half the universe in order to save the other half and all this kind of stuff. You have this struggle watching him. It’s this love-hate thing, you know? So I don’t know … Who in our society do we love and hate?
He also said this in the same interview:
But at the same time you feel for him. You want to write him off as insane, and yet what he’s doing makes sense, if you break it down.
Josh Brolin has to say a lot about his character. He definitely is passionate about the role. However, it is not clear if he is up for a TV series based on the history and past of Thanos. It might be a good way to introduce the character in a completely new way to the fans.
Why does Marvel want to make a series for Thanos Prequel?
It is clear that after the success of the Infinity War and End game Thanos is the most hated character in Marvel history. That is why it makes this character special as well. But, with the help of this series they can introduce the character differently. Maybe as a hero too.
Where is Thanos Prequel going to release?
The show will be released on Disney+. Disney+ is working on a lot of new projects. We are also going to see the She-Hulk series on Disney+ as well. Now they are working on Thanos Prequel series.
However, it is too early to say anything about the show yet. It is still in development and we might have to wait for a while for the show.
Cameo in The Eternals
Some fans are suspecting that Thanos might appear on the Eternals. Nothing is confirmed yet.
Plot
There is not much about the plot of the movie yet. However, they will mostly focus on how Thanos became an evil villain. We will see the past of the Titan in an entirely different way.
Release date
The show is still in development and we might not get the show before 2022.
