The show first aired back in July 2019 and is still ongoing, Season 2 is coming this month. The Boys Season 3 has been renewed at Amazon.
Amazon Prime announced in the Comic-Con: Home that they have renewed The Boys for another season. The Boys Season 3 will feature 8 episodes.
Eric Kripke and the incredible cast of The Boys continue to deliver a wild and action-packed series full of surprises and Can’t-miss moments that have made the series a global hit. We couldn’t be more excited to see where Eric takes The Boys and The Supes in Season 3, and to have Aisha Tyler join The Boys family as the host of Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys.

There is no release date for Season 3 as of now. Rogen said: “Anyone’s guess. Hopefully sometime this decade!”
The Boys Season 2 is coming to Amazon Prime this year, on September 4, 2020. The first three episodes will release in September and the remaining will air in October.
