The Vampire Diaries is a supernatural teen drama series created by Julie Plec. It started airing in 2009 and ended in 2017. There are eight seasons of The Vampire Diaries. The spin-off series The Originals started airing in 2013 and ended in 2018. Currently, the spin-off series of The Originals “Legacies” is ongoing and airing on the CW. The series is based on L.J. Smith’s novels. The series is quite famous because of the cast and the super-natural plot. The Vampire Diaries concluded with Season 8 and had the best ending a show could ever get. The spinoff series “Legacies” also got renewed for a fourth season at CW.
