The Vampire Diaries is removed from Netflix. However, the spin-off shows “The Originals” and “Legacies” are still available on Netflix. TVD is a teen-supernatural drama that started airing back in 2009 on CW. The show ended three years ago back in 2017. Also, it’s spin-off “The Originals” also ended on August 1, 2018. However, another spin-off is going on that is based on Klaus’s daughter, a Tribrid, and Salvatore School for the young and gifted. Legacies is still ongoing and is renewed for a third season.
The Vampire Diaries is not the only show which was removed from Netflix. Pretty Little Liars which is another soapy American drama series is also removed from Netflix in several countries outside the USA and fans are angry with their decision. But shows are removed and added all the time so there is no need to be sad. Who knows new and exciting TV will be added instead of these iconic shows.
Fans are not pleased by the decision of Netflix. Some countries are currently on lockdown due to the Coronavirus, and The Vampire Diaries was a great time pass for the fans. However, they won’t be able to binge-watch it on Netflix anymore.

Where you can binge-watch The Vampire Diaries now?
Netflix has removed TVD. However, it is now available on Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime is actually cheaper than Netflix and they also provide trial just like Netflix. There is a chance that HBO Max might claim The Vampire Diaries from CW as the show is really popular.
Why it was removed from Netflix?
There is no particular reason why it was removed. Netflix license to show CW TV shows is expiring and TVD is a really old show now. On-going shows like Chilling Adventures of Sabrina were cancelled, TVD ended three years ago so it was expected.
