The director is also famous for his close relationship with actor “Johnny Depp”. Johnny has appeared in numerous of his movies.
Tim Burton is working on a new project “Wednesday Addams” that will air on Netflix. It is going to be his directional debut. There were a lot of rumors on the internet about his project with Netflix. But, it seems like those rumors were true. Netflix confirmed the news with an official tweet. Netflix has become a big platform for movies and series. Burton is one of the biggest names in Hollywood. Fans are excited about the upcoming series.
Plot
The series is going to follow the life of Wednesday Addams. The series will focus on her life in Nevermore High School. She will also investigate a murder mystery in her town. Wednesday will deal with her psychic abilities and her parent’s past. The show is about Wednesday’s life. Wednesday’s character is one of the most interesting characters from the TV show.
There is going o be 8 epsiodes in the first season. However, there is no news about the others characters. Wednesday’s charcater has been part of numerous films. But , this Netflix series will focus on her life only. We might see other characters as well.
According to the deadline magazine , the plot of the series is:
“That’s where she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago. All while navigating her new and very tangled relationships,” an official description of the series reads. This also suggests that other members of the Addams clan, including Morticia and Gomez Addams, could appear in the show.
Netflix’s orginal series director Teddy Biaselli said this during the interview:
“Tim has had a history of telling empowering stories about social outsiders like Edward Scissorhands, Lydia Deitz, and Batman, And now he brings his unique vision to Wednesday and her spooky classmates at Nevermore Academy.”
Cast
There is not much about the cast of the series yet. There are rumors that Tim Burton might consider Johnny Depp for Gomez Addam’s role but nothing is confirmed yet.

There is no news about the release date of the show yet. But , it will be released this year.
