The Conjuring is one of the positively critically acclaimed movies of all time. It is completely horrifying to watch as the events are based on real life. The family went through hell in that house.

The Conjuring 2 is also on the list because it is also a great and horrifying movie. This story focuses on a family who moves into the house and starts to feel a few things and events immediately. They contact ed and Lorraine.
The story is based on the murder of the Defeo family. The whole Defeo family was murdered by their Eldest son Robert Defeo. He later claimed that he was forced by a dark entity to kill his own family.
This raised the eyebrows of many people. Many called him a liar and said that he was bluffing. But during the research, they came across a weird fact all the dead bodies were lying on their stomach. All of them were calm when they died.
It was impossible for everyone to stay this calm down tho their bedrooms were close to each other. The things got more ugly when the Lutz family came to move in the house right after the incident. They left the house in less than a week. The film focuses on the family which moved in after the lutz.
Evil Dead 2013
The remake of if the famous classic movie also becomes very famous. The film is based on the story of a girl named Mia who is a drug addict. She invites her brother and his friends to go to their family remote cabin. They all go there to have fun on the weekend. ‘But one of the friends raises a demon when he reads something from the book of dead aloud. The demon possesses MIA things making uglier and horrifying. The film has extreme graphics and it is really disturbing as well.
The Sinister: Thriller + Horror
A true crime writer is depressed with his life. He wants to write something hit but fails miserably. He sees the murder of a family on a snuff film and vows to get the information about how they died. To do the work closely he moves his family into the same house.
When he gets to know that the evil forces were also involved in the murder he tries everything to get his family out of there before it is too late.
