A huge scam just happened on Twitter today through high-profile accounts. Twitter Crypto Scam, hackers hacked the accounts of users having more than a million followers and used them to spread a cryptocurrency scam. High Profile accounts started to post malicious links. Elon Musk, Apple, Biden, Gates, and many other accounts were hacked and were used to scam people.
The hack is still ongoing, according to The Verge, this started shortly after 4 PM ET. On this Twitter said:
We are aware of a security incident impacting accounts on Twitter. We are investigating and taking steps to fix it. We will update everyone shortly.
Bill Gates, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Kanye West, etc were hacked today on Twitter.

From what we know, following accounts were compromised:
- Bill Gates
- Elon Musk
- Joe Biden
- Warren Buffett
- Kanye West
- Michael Bloomberg
- Apple
- Uber
- Jeff Bezos
- Barack Obama
- Benjamin Netanyahu
This all started after Elon Musk Tweeted:
Feeling grateful, doubling all payments sent to my BTC address. You Send 1000$, I send back 2000$. Only doing this for 30mins
And now people who actually sent the money to this address are asking for their money back. A total of $105,000 USD was lost today. Rumors suggest that Twitter Crypto Scam could be an inside job.

We can confirm that this tweet was not sent by Bill Gates. This appears to be part of a larger issue that Twitter is facing. Twitter is aware and working to restore the account.”
