Venom released back in 2018 and instantly became a fan favourite. The movie did well at the box office. The rating of the movie is also impressive at Imbd. However, the movie is coming back to the cinema. Ever since the release of venom fans were asking for a sequel. The story was not finished in the first movie. Tom hardy is once again coming back to the big screens with Venom sequel. The sequel is a highly awaited movie of 2021. Venom is not a typical super-hero movie. Marvel has a lot in stores for the venom and we might see some big collaborations in the future as well.
Comics fans love “Venom” and they were waiting for a solo venom movie for years and now they are getting a sequel as well, However, with the release of Spider-man home-coming, fans thought that the “Venom” might appear as a villain in the spider-man movies but they had a better plan.
Title;
The title of the movie is going to be “Venom Let There Be Carnage”. Fans were not happy by the title and wanted it to be ” Absolute Carnage”. But, the venom solo movie is all we needed. However, in this article, we will reveal the plot, trailer, cast, and more about the upcoming movie.
Release Date
The movie was all set to release in 2020. But due to the coronavirus pandemic, they delayed the release of the movie. They started shooting back in November 2019. It was planned to release this year. However, they wanted to release Morbius first on March 19, 2020. Venom was going to release on June 25, 2020. But now both of the movies are going to be released in 2021. As they believe that the situation will be better next year.
Andy Serkis said this in his interview about the release date of the movie;
“I started editing and then we had to shut down. The editor flew back to the States and I’ve been editing remotely,” Serkis explained in May 2020. “It’s no bad thing because we can spend more time with the visual effects and, ultimately, it’s probably better for the movie.”
Plot
There is not much revealed about the plot of the movie yet. However, Both Eddie Brock and Venom decided that they will only kill bad people. We will also see she-venom and Venom’s offspring carnage. Carnage is the evil offspring of Venom. We have seen him in the comics as an enemy of both spider-man and venom. It will be exciting to see Venom vs Carnage on the big screens.
In an interview, Andy Serkis revealed his thoughts about the plot of the upcoming movie;
“I can’t tell you any ideas right now. I’m in the beginning stages, but I have some very clear ideas about what I want to see visually, and how we can take the characters to another dimension.”
He continued saying;
“The heart of Venom was always the relationship between Eddie and Venom. These two characters, these two sides that had to figure out how to live together and that were somehow better together than they were separately, or more successful, and what that meant.”
She-Venom
Anne Weying is the wife of Eddie Brock. In the comics, she is a she-venom and mother of Eddie’s child Dylan. So, we are definitely going to see her as venom in the movie.
Cast
Tom Hardy is absolutely returning as Eddie Brock. Pascal said in an interview about Tom hardy as Venom;
“When you think of Venom, you’ll never be able to think of anyone but Tom Hardy sitting in that bathtub of lobsters. And once you saw Tom Hardy do this character, that’s all you needed to know.”
It is absolutely true that we can never imagine better Eddie Brock then Tom hardy. He has done a remarkable job in the movie. Michelle Williams is going to come back as Eddie’s wife Anne Weying. However, both Eddie and Anne have a complicated relationship and we will get to see where their relationship will go in the upcoming movie. We might see her as she-venom. We are going to see James Bond star Naomie Harris as the “Shriek”. She is definitely going to play as the villain in the movie. There are also going to be some new names in the movie.

The trailer of the movie is not out yet. Considering the release date of the movie the trailer will release this year or at the end of this year. There is a teaser of the trailer available on the Internet yet. The question is whether we will see Carnage in the trailer or not.
Release Date
The movie is going to release on 24th June 2021. The movie will be released worldwide in the cinemas.
